Fireside Chat: Shared Sisterhood with Dr. Tina Opie (moderated by Prof. Ed Bertschinger)

“From recruiting, onboarding, socialization, evaluation, training, pay, promotion, all the way around to workforce planning and retirement. Now that we've linked arms, we can look at these systems and work toward change together."
– Dr. Tina Opie

Please join us on April 4 (12-1:15pm) for a fireside chat with Dr. Tina Opie – author, speaker, educator, and 2019-2020 MIT MLK Visiting Scholar – about her Shared Sisterhood framework: Dig, Bridge, Collective Action. All members of the MIT community are invited to attend.

Learn with us about an approach to achieving racial and gender equity that includes individual, interpersonal, and communal commitments, and empowers us all to be agents for change at MIT. Professor Ed Bertschinger (Physics) will kindly serve as the conversation moderator.
