Essayist Garnette Cadogan (MLK Visiting Scholar 2017-18) was a guest on MIT OpenCourseWare’s podcast, Chalk Radio.

Garnette is the author of the essay "Walking While Black" (2020), and he recently taught a course on campus called "The Fire This Time: Race and Racism in American Cities." In this episode, he talks about his teaching and the role of joy in the struggle against systemic racism.
