MLK Visiting Professor Dr. Sonya Smith will present her journey from the beginning of her PhD research to building an interdisciplinary research team at an HBCU, and developing a pathway for women of color to succeed in STEM fields on a national and international level.

Dr. Smith is hosted by Professor Wesley Harris in the Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics.
