Austin, Texas - April 18, 2023 - Moriba Jah [MIT MLK Visiting Associate Professor 2022-23], the world-renowned space environmentalist and sustainability advocate, is making his modeling debut in the latest issue of Cool America Magazine, a pop-culture, fashion and celebrity publication. Jah's work as a space environmentalist and sustainability advocate has earned him recognition worldwide. As the Director of the Space Safety, Security and Sustainability Program at the Robert Strauss Center for International Security and Law at The University of Texas at Austin, Jah has been at the forefront of developing policies and guidelines to ensure that space activities are conducted in a sustainable manner. He has also been a vocal advocate for the responsible use of space, raising awareness about the environmental impact of space debris and the need for sustainable space exploration leveraging Traditional Ecological Knowledge (TEK).
