Kenneth Reeves, President of the NAACP Cambridge Branch and MIT MLK Visiting Scholar 2015-17, invites you to The 36th Annual Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Brunch, hosted by the Cambridge Branch NAACP.

The Cambridge Branch NAACP was among the first to adopt the celebration of Dr. King’s birthday, even before its declaration as a national holiday. For over three decades, the Annual MLK Brunch has honored the legacy of Dr. King and recognized community leaders committed to social justice and public service. This year's two principal speakers will be Harvard University President Lawrence Bacow (past Chancellor and Chair of the Faculty at MIT) and Boston University Professor Ibram X. Kendi, as well as remarks from Senator Elizabeth Warren and Representative Ayanna Pressley, among other esteemed leaders. Event sponsors include Harvard, MIT, Cambridge Trust, and Cambridge Community Foundation.

The event will be virtual and free to attend, but registration is required: RSVP HERE

If you have any questions or are interested in sponsoring the event, please contact the Cambridge Branch NAACP at naacpcambridgema@gmail.com.
