Tewodros Amdeberhan is a Professor at Tulane University. Research interests: Combinatorics, Number Theory, Special functions, Partial Differential Equations, Computer Algebra, Algorithmic Proof Theory, and Harmonic Analysis.

Tewodros Amdeberhan is a Professor at Tulane University. His research interests are: Combinatorics, Number Theory, Special functions, Partial Differential Equations, Computer Algebra, Algorithmic Proof Theory, and Harmonic Analysis.

Dr. Amdeberhan holds a BS and MS in Mathematics (both with a Minor in Physics) from Addis Ababa University in Ethiopia and a PhD in Mathematics from Temple University (1997). He is a Permanent Member of the Center for Discrete Mathematics and Theoretical Computer Science (DIMACS) at Rutgers University and has taught at DeVry College of Technology and Princeton University.  

As an MLK Visiting Professor, Dr. Amdeberhan was hosted by the Department of Mathematics, where he taught seminars in discrete mathematics, gave lectures, and participated in various conferences and colloquia.
